晉高祖時，張從賓反，殺皇子重乂於洛陽，乃以昫為東都留守，判鹽鐵。 Under Gaozu of Later Jin, Zhang Congbin rebelled and killed the prince Chongyi at Luoyang. Liu Xu was appointed regent of the eastern capital with concurrent charge of the salt and iron monopoly.
