及宣帝即尊位，恭已死，三子，高、曾、玄。 When Emperor Xuan took the throne, Gong was already dead, leaving three sons: Gao, Zeng, and Xuan.

曾、玄皆以外屬舊恩封：曾爲將陵侯，玄平台侯。 Zeng and Xuan were both enfeoffed as maternal relatives on account of old favor: Zeng as Marquis of Jiangling and Xuan as Marquis of Pingtai.

史氏凡四人侯，至卿、大夫、二千石者十餘人，皆訖王莽乃絶，唯將陵侯曾無子，絶於身云。 Four members of the Shi clan became marquises, and more than a dozen reached ministerial or two-thousand-shi rank; the line ended only under Wang Mang, except Marquis of Jiangling Zeng, who died without heirs.
