扶風人士孫奮居富而性吝，冀因以馬乘遺之，從貸錢五千萬，奮以三千萬與之，冀大怒，乃告郡縣，認奮母為其守臧婢，雲盜白珠十斛、紫金千斤以叛，遂收考奮兄弟，死於獄中，悉沒資財億七千餘萬。 Shisun Fen, a man of Fufeng, was wealthy but miserly by nature. Liang Ji used a team of horses to make him a gift and asked to borrow 50,000,000 cash. Fen gave him 30,000,000. Ji was furious and therefore reported to the commandery and county that Fen's mother had been his slave guarding storehouses and had stolen ten hu of white pearls and 1,000 jin of purple gold before absconding. He then arrested and interrogated Fen and his brothers, who died in prison, and confiscated all their property, more than 170,000,000 cash.
