顯德五年，世宗在迎鑾江口，聞吳人舟數艘泊東㳍洲，即命延釗與右神武統軍宋延渥討之。 In the fifth year of Xiande, while Emperor Shizong was at the Yingluan river mouth, he learned that several Wu boats were anchored at Dongbuzhou and immediately ordered Yanzhao and Song Yanwo, overall commander of the Right Divine Martial Guard, to attack them.

延釗以驍騎由陸進，延渥督舟師沿江繼進，大破之。 Yanzhao advanced overland with elite cavalry while Yanwo led the fleet upriver in support, and they won a great victory.
