Cui Yin welcomed the emperor at Danfeng Tower, led the assembled officials in awaiting punishment, and wept as he memorialized, "I hold high office yet was unable to suppress the traitors. Thanks to Zhu Quanzhong, Prince of Dongping, who first displayed loyal resolve and killed the palace agents, Dezhao and the others were able to capture and execute the wicked rebels and cleanse the palace once more."
