縞以謂孝穆、孝崇有皇而無帝，惟吳孫皓尊其父和為文皇帝，不可以為法。 Gao argued that Xiaomu and Xiaochong bore the title emperor in name but not in full form, and that only Sun Hao of Wu had honored his father as Emperor Wen—a precedent that could not be followed.
