還攻潞州，唐以孫揆為潞州節度使，揆儒者，以梁卒三千為衛，褒衣大蓋，擁節先驅。 He turned back on Luzhou; the court named Sun Kui its governor—a scholar who marched with three thousand Liang guards in flowing robes under a great canopy, the commission borne ahead.

存孝以三百騎伏長子西崖谷間，伺揆軍過，橫擊斷之，擒揆以歸。 Cunxiao laid three hundred riders in the western cliff pass at Changzi, ambushed Kui’s march, cut the column in two, and carried Kui off.

初，梁遣葛從周、朱崇節守潞州以待揆，聞揆見執，皆棄去，晉遂復取潞州。 Liang had posted Ge Congzhou and Zhu Chongjie at Luzhou to receive Kui; when they learned he was captured, both fled, and Jin took the city back.
