During the Qiande reign of the Song dynasty, because the cult had deluded the people with false claims, an edict ordered the Langshan Buddhist monastery destroyed. The rotted bones of the nun were transported to the capital and burned in the northern suburbs, and Xingyou was made a general-in-chief of the Palace Guard. From then on the heterodox followers ceased their activities.
