長槍鎖南班陷寧國，伯琦與僚佐倉皇出見之，尋遁走至杭州除兵部尚書，未行，改浙西肅政廉訪使。 When the Changqiang leader Suonanban seized Ningguo, Boqi and his staff went out in panic to meet them, then fled. Reaching Hangzhou he was appointed minister of war but did not take up the post and was instead appointed surveillance commissioner of western Zhe.
