王謙作亂，仲卿使在利州，即與總管豆盧勣發兵拒守。 When Wang Qian rebelled, Zhongqing was in Lizhou and at once joined Area Commander Dou Lu Ji in raising troops to resist.

為謙所攻，仲卿督兵出戰，前後一十七陣。 Besieged by Qian, Zhongqing led troops into battle in seventeen engagements.

及謙平，進位大將軍，封長垣縣公，邑千戶。 When Qian was suppressed he was promoted to Great General and enfeoffed as Duke of Changyuan with a fief of one thousand households.
