[二]辛卯，以南京地震，兩淮大水，河決，命都御史王文巡視安輯。 On xinmao, after the Nanjing earthquake, flooding on the Two Huai, and the river breach, Censor-in-Chief Wang Wen was sent to tour the stricken districts and restore order.

冬十月戊戌，左都御史王文兼翰林學士，直文淵閣，預機務。 In the tenth month of winter, on wuxu, Censor-in-Chief Wang Wen was also appointed Hanlin academician, entered the Grand Secretariat, and joined in state deliberations.
