王都據定州叛，朝廷命王晏球進討，以審交為轉運供軍使，王都平，以勞授遼州刺史。 When Wang Du rebelled from Dingzhou the court sent Wang Yanqiu against him with Shenjiao as transport and supply officer. After Wang Du was subdued, Shenjiao was rewarded with the prefecture of Liaozhou.
