唐乾符二年，浙西裨將王郢作亂，石鑒鎮將董昌募鄉兵討賊，表镠偏將，擊郢破之。 In the second year of the Qianfu era (875), Wang Ying, a deputy general in Zhexi, rose in rebellion. Dong Chang, garrison commander at Shijian, recruited local militia to suppress the rebels, had Qian Liu appointed deputy commander, attacked Wang Ying, and defeated him.
