乃詔給事中段平仲、中書舍人韋貫之、兵部侍郎許孟容、戶部侍郎李絳參閱蠲減，凡省冗官八百員，吏千四百員。 An edict ordered Supervising Secretary Duan Pingzhong, Drafting Secretary Wei Guanzhi, Vice Minister of War Xu Mengrong, and Vice Minister of Revenue Li Jiang to review and cut redundant posts; in all eight hundred superfluous officials and fourteen hundred clerks were eliminated.
