雲南方議撫回，巡撫徐之銘諮會停剿，而回匪益恣，竄陷安南、興義，分擾郎岱、永寧、歸化，詔原其誤信撫議，免議處。 Yunnan was debating Hui pacification; Governor Xu Zhiming consulted and halted suppression, but the Hui rebels grew bolder, raided Annan and Xingyi, and spread into Langdai, Yongning, and Guihua. An edict forgave his mistaken faith in pacification and spared him punishment.
