贊曰：懿、僖以來，王道日失厥序，腐尹塞朝，賢人遁逃，四方豪英，各附所合而奮。 The commentator says: From the reigns of Yizong and Xizong onward, the kingly way daily lost its proper order. Corrupt officials filled the court, worthy men fled into hiding, and heroes throughout the realm each attached themselves to whatever cause suited them and rose up in struggle.
