隱太子建成、巢剌王元吉競以金帛誘之，志玄拒而不納，密以白太宗，竟與尉遲敬德等同誅建成、元吉。 Jiancheng and Yuanji tried to buy him with gold; he refused and warned the prince, then joined Jingde in killing them.
