時宇文粹中賜對崇政殿，奏武庫事，因奏：「武庫有祖宗所御軍器十餘色，乞編入《鹵簿圖志》，遇郊兵重禮，陳於儀物之首，以識武功，且示不忘創業艱難意。」 Yuwen Cuizhong, granted audience in Chongzheng Hall, memorialized: "The arsenal has more than ten types of military gear used by the ancestors; we beg they be compiled into the Halberd Escort Illustrated Record and displayed at the head of suburban ritual processions to mark martial achievement and show intent not to forget the hardship of founding the enterprise."
