江南總督噶禮、江蘇巡撫張伯行互訐，命尚書張鵬翮、總督赫壽按治，議奪伯行官。 Jiangnan governor-general Gali and Jiangsu governor Zhang Boxing impeached each other. ministers Zhang Penghe and Governor-General Heshou were ordered to investigate. Boxing's office was proposed for stripping.

疏下九卿，上特命奪噶禮官，伯行復任。 The memorial went to the Nine Ministers. the emperor specially ordered Gali stripped of office and Boxing restored.

廷樞使車四出，惟張伯行事出上裁，他皆稱指。 Tingshu sent investigating commissioners in all directions. only the Zhang Boxing affair was decided by the emperor's own judgment — the rest all followed instructions.
