崧以琦語語三司使張延朗，延朗欣然曰：「茍能紓國患，歲費縣官十數萬緡，責吾取足可也！」 Li Song repeated Qi's words to Zhang Yanlang, commissioner of the Three Departments. Yanlang said gladly: "If it can relieve the state's peril, spending several hundred thousand strings from the treasury each year—I can be tasked to supply whatever is needed!"
