趙玉仕至職方員外郎，琦事之如父，玉疾，親嘗藥扶侍，及卒，為其家主辦喪葬。 Zhao Yu rose to the post of Assistant Director of the Bureau of Works. Qi treated him like a father—when Yu fell ill, Qi personally tasted his medicine and nursed him, and when he died, Qi arranged the funeral for his family.

玉子文度幼孤，琦教以學，如己子，後舉進士及第云。 Yu's son Wendu was orphaned young. Qi educated him as if he were his own child, and Wendu later passed the jinshi examination, or so it is said.
