天復中，太祖迎駕至岐下，以規權知洽州。 During Tianfu, when the Founder welcomed the emperor to Qixia, he made Gui acting prefect of Qiazhou.

昭宗還長安，詔授皇城使。 When Zhaozong returned to Chang'an, an edict made him imperial-city commissioner.

駕至洛，授內園莊宅使。 When the emperor reached Luoyang, he was made commissioner of the inner gardens and estates.
