時朱守殷守德勝南城，帝懼彥章奔衝，遂幸澶州。 Zhu Shouyin held Desheng's south wall; fearing Yanzhang would burst through, the Emperor went to Chanyuan himself.

令朱守殷撤德勝北城屋木攻具，浮河而下，以助楊劉。 and ordered Zhu Shouyin to strip Desheng's north wall of timber and engines and float them down to Yangliu.

朱守殷以所毀屋木編筏，置步軍於其上。 Zhu Shouyin bound the wrecked timbers into rafts and put foot soldiers aboard.
