冬十月辛亥，康王友孜謀反，伏誅。 On xinhai in the tenth month Prince of Kang Youzi rebelled and was put to death.

是夕，帝於寢殿熟寐，忽聞禦榻上寶劍有聲，帝遽起視之，而友孜之黨已入於宮中，帝揮之獲免。 That night he slept deeply until his sword on the couch rang; he leapt up as Youzi's men entered the palace and drove them off with the blade.

〈（《清異錄》：末帝夜於寢間擒刺客，乃康王友孜所遣，帝自戮之。 (《Records of Unusual Matters》: The Later Emperor caught an assassin sent by Youzi in the bedchamber and slew him himself.
