Under the Bing division, the Masters register lists seventeen categories: Confucian, Daoist, Legalist, School-of-Names, Mohist, Coalitionist, Eclectic, Agrarian, fiction, astronomy, calendrics and mathematics, military writings, five phases, miscellaneous arts, encyclopedic compilations, hall-of-enlightenment and meridian texts, and medical arts.
