"Vice Ministers Ding Xuan and Wang Yonghe": Ding Xuan, the original text read Ding Hong. The present History, juan 328 〈"Account of the Oirats"〉 and the Yingzong Shilu, juan 181, both read "Ding Xuan." Per the Wang Zuo biography appended in juan 167 of this book 〈"Account of Ding Xuan"〉 his deeds match the annals; emended accordingly.
