[1] "Advance Yong to marquis": here dated to dingwei of the tenth month in Chenghua 2; this book, juan 173, Biography of Zhu Qian with appended Biography of Zhu Yong, places it in autumn of Chenghua 1; juan 107, Chronological Table of Meritorious Officials, places it in renshen of the first month of Chenghua 3; the Xianzong Shilu, juan 38, agrees. Placing the event in the first month of the third year seems the more credible reading.
