六年秋，晉高祖將幸鄴都，時襄州安從進反狀已彰，凝乃奏曰：「車駕離闕，安從進或有悖逆，何以待之？」 In autumn of the sixth year Gaozu of Jin was bound for Yedu while An Congjin of Xiang showed open rebellion. Ning memorialized: "If the throne leaves the capital, Congjin may rebel—what is our plan?"
