兩淮鹽政巴寧阿交結商人，坐書麟徇庇，复奪職，予三等侍衛，赴新疆效力。 Lianghuai salt controller Ba Ning'a had colluded with merchants. Shu Lin was again dismissed for shielding him, given the rank of third-class bodyguard, and sent to Xinjiang to redeem himself through service.
