為武庚未集，恐其有賊心，武王乃令其弟管叔、蔡叔傅相武庚祿父，以和其民。 Because Wu Geng had not yet gathered support and King Wu feared treacherous intentions, he ordered his younger brothers Guan Shu and Cai Shu to assist Wu Geng Lu Fu and steady the people.

管叔、蔡叔疑周公，乃與武庚祿父作亂，欲攻成周。 Guan Shu and Cai Shu distrusted the Duke of Zhou, so they joined Wu Geng Lu Fu in rebellion and planned to attack Chengzhou.

周公旦以成王命興師伐殷，殺武庚祿父、管叔，放蔡叔，以武庚殷餘民封康叔為衛君，居河、淇閒故商墟。 At King Cheng’s command, the Duke of Zhou Dan raised troops against Yin, killed Wu Geng Lu Fu and Guan Shu, banished Cai Shu, and with Wu Geng’s remaining Yin people enfeoffed Kang Shu as lord of Wei, to dwell in the former Shang ruins between the He and Qi rivers.
