天祐八年，從王景仁戰，敗於柏鄉，紹文與別將曹儒收殘眾，退保相州。 In the eighth year of Tianyou he fought under Wang Jingren and was defeated at Bai Township. Li Shaowen and the officer Cao Ru gathered the survivors and fell back to Xiangzhou.

莊宗嘉納之，賜姓名，分其兩將三千人為左右匡霸軍旅，仍令紹文、曹儒分將之。 Zhuangzong welcomed him, granted him the imperial surname and personal name, and formed his three thousand men and two officers into the Left and Right Support-the-Hegemon brigades under Shaowen and Cao Ru.
