會長齡等已敗賊瓦房口，書麟以東川、保豐為糧運要路，親往截剿。 After Chang Ling and others had defeated the rebels at Wafangkou, Shu Lin went in person to Dongchuan and Baofeng, key supply routes, to cut off and attack the enemy.

川匪苟文明等由陝西平利越老林圖竄房縣，偕長齡、明亮進擊，遇賊獅子崖，大敗之； Sichuan rebels led by Gou Wenming crossed from Shaanxi's Pingli through the old forest trails toward Fangxian. With Chang Ling and Mingliang he attacked them at Shiziya and won a crushing victory.
