十六年，浙江巡撫陳秉直疏請卹，贈通政使，諡忠毅。 In Kangxi 16 (1677) Zhejiang Governor Chen Bingzhi asked for funeral honors. Danchi was posthumously made Commissioner of the Court of State Ceremonial with the posthumous title Zhongyi (Loyal and Resolute).
