陳源,淳熙中提舉德壽宮,頗有寵。
In the Chunxi era Chen Yuan superintended Deshou Palace and enjoyed considerable favor.
源恃恩顓恣,本宮書史徐彥通者為源掌家務,不數歲,官至 經武大夫;
Yuan grew tyrannical; palace clerk Xu Yantong ran his household and within years became Military Merit Grandee;

億年養娼女以別業,源在貶所與妓濫,俱以淫媟聞,人疑其非宦者云。
Yinian kept a courtesan in a side estate; Yuan consorted with prostitutes in exile; both were notorious for debauchery, and people doubted they were real eunuchs.
