廓爾喀再叛，芝元偕提督成德督兵攻聶拉木，守拍甲嶺隘口斷賊援，聶拉木遂下； When the Gurkhas rebelled again, Zhiyuan and Regional Commander Chengde assaulted Nyalam, held the pass at Paijialing to sever enemy reinforcements, and Nyalam fell;
