時大軍久出,輜重不相屬,士卒煮馬駒、采野菜以為食,孳畜道斃者十七八,物價十倍,器服資貨委棄於楚裏河,狼藉數百里,因更剌葛名暴裏。 The great army had been in the field a long time; the baggage trains could not keep pace; the soldiers boiled foals and gathered wild greens to eat; seven or eight out of ten head of livestock died along the road; prices rose tenfold; arms, clothing, goods, and valuables were cast away along the Chuli River and lay strewn for hundreds of li; for this Cige's name was changed to Baoli.
