三十四年，初，哀公娶鄭，長姬生悼太子師，少姬生偃。 In the thirty-fourth year, initially Duke Ai married a woman from Zheng. His elder wife gave birth to Crown Prince Dao Shi, and his younger wife gave birth to Yan.

哀公病，三月，招殺悼太子，立留為太子。 Duke Ai was ill. In the third month, Zhao killed Crown Prince Dao and established Liu as crown prince.

招之殺悼太子也，太子之子名吳，出奔晉。 When Zhao killed Crown Prince Dao, the crown prince's son named Wu fled to Jin.

平王初立，欲得和諸侯，乃求故陳悼太子師之子吳，立為陳侯，是為惠公。 When King Ping had just ascended, he wished to restore harmony among the feudal lords, so he sought out Wu, the son of Chen's former Crown Prince Dao Shi, and established him as lord of Chen. This was Duke Hui.
