出帝即位，楊光遠反，召契丹入寇。 When the Deposed Emperor took the throne, Yang Guangyuan rebelled and called in the Khitan to invade.

守貞領義成軍節度使，為侍衞親軍都虞候，從出帝幸澶州。 Shouzhen held the Yicheng military governorship and served as chief adjutant of the palace personal guard, accompanying the Deposed Emperor to Chanzhou.

出帝臨幸，燕錫恩禮，出於諸將。 When the Deposed Emperor visited in person, he feasted and bestowed favors beyond those given other generals.

契丹入寇，出帝再幸澶州，杜重威為北面招討使，守貞為都監。 When the Khitan invaded, the Deposed Emperor twice went in person to Chanzhou. Du Zhongwei was northern campaign commander and Shouzhen was overall supervisor.
