後遇諒於并州起逆，率眾南拒官軍，乃留行布城守，遂與豆盧毓等閉門拒諒，城陷，遇害。 When Liang rebelled at Bing Prefecture and led troops south against the imperial army, Xingbu was left to hold the city and, with Doulu Yu and others, shut the gates against Liang; when the city fell he was killed.
