Duanjibu, of the Guwalgiya clan, belonged to the Manchu Bordered Yellow Banner.
扎哈沁頭人巴哈曼集叛走,端濟布偕侍衛奎瑪岱追捕,至小衛和勒津,降所部二百戶,又得掠台站賊札木布。
When the Zhahakin leader Bahamanji rebelled and fled, Duanjibu and bodyguard Kuimadai pursued him to Xiaoweihelejin, accepted the surrender of two hundred households, and also captured the bandit Zhamubu, who had been raiding courier stations.

Duanjibu was granted the hereditary rank of third-class commandant of light chariots and appointed vice commander of the Manchu Bordered Red Banner.
