時太宗以申令孫為徐州，代安都。 At that time Emperor Ming appointed Shen Lingsun to Xuzhou in Andou's place.

太宗遣齊王率前將軍張永、寧朔將軍垣山寶、王寬、員外散騎侍郎張寘震、蕭順之、龍驤將軍張季和、黃文玉等諸軍北討。 Emperor Ming sent the Prince of Qi north at the head of an army including Forward General Zhang Yong, General Who Pacifies the North Yuan Shanbao, Wang Kuan, Supernumerary Attendant Cavalier Zhang Zhenzhen, Xiao Shunzhi, General of the Dragon Cavalry Zhang Jihe, Huang Wenyu, and others.

太宗欲加原宥，靈越辭對如一，終不回改，乃殺之。 Emperor Ming wished to pardon him, but Lingyue answered just as before and would not relent, so he was put to death.
