泰始初，諸州反叛，世隆以門禍獲申，事由明帝，乃據郡起兵，遣使應朝廷。 In the first years of Taishi, when the provinces rose in revolt, Shilong's clan was cleared of guilt through Emperor Ming; he then seized his commandery, raised arms, and sent envoys to the throne.

還爲尚書儀曹郎，明帝嘉其義心，發詔擢爲太子洗馬，出爲寧遠將軍、巴西梓潼太守。 He returned to court as gentleman of ceremonies in the masters of writing; Emperor Ming honored his loyalty and promoted him by edict to groom of the heir apparent, then sent him out as general who pacifies the distance and administrator of Zitong in Baxi.
