司憲褫有罪者官，世祖成憲也，今上即位，累詔法世祖，今擢用之，是廢成憲而反汗前詔也，後復有邪佞贓穢者，將治之邪？ The censorate stripped office from the guilty according to the established statutes of Emperor Shizu. Since the present emperor ascended the throne, repeated edicts have ordered that law follow Shizu. Now to promote and employ them is to abolish the established statutes and go back on earlier edicts. Later, when wicked and corrupt men appear again, will you punish them?
