世祖中統元年，詔諭大淵曰：「尚厲忠貞之節，共成康乂之功。」
In the first year of Zhongtong (1260), the Founder addressed Dayuan, saying, "Continue to uphold loyal fidelity and together accomplish the work of peace and good order."
三年春，世祖命出開、達，與宋兵戰于平田，復戰于巴渠，擒其知軍范燮、統制魏興、路分黃迪、節幹陳子潤等。
In the spring of the third year (1262) the Founder ordered him against Kai and Da. He fought Song forces at Pingtian and again at Baqu, capturing Military Prefect Fan Xie, Commander Wei Xing, Route Commander Huang Di, Staff Officer Chen Zirun, and others.
五月，世祖以大淵及張大悅復神山功，詔獎諭，仍賜蒙古、漢軍鈔百錠。
In the fifth month the Founder, for Dayuan's and Zhang Dayue's recovery of Shen Mountain, issued a reward edict and granted one hundred ingots of Mongol and Han army banknotes.
