初，王阿海等乙太宗誓詔賜夏國，乾順以契丹舊儀見使者，阿海不肯曰：「契丹與夏國甥舅也，故國王坐受，使者以禮進。 When Wang Ahai first delivered Emperor Taizong's sworn edict to Xia, Qianshun received the envoys by the old Khitan protocol, remaining seated. Ahai objected: "Under the Khitan, Xia was Liao's nephew by marriage, so your king could sit while the envoy performed the rites.
