唐初祀四世，太宗增祀六世。 Early Tang sacrificed to four generations; Taizong increased it to six.

及太宗祔廟，則遷弘農府君，高宗祔廟，又遷宣帝，皆祀六世，前世成法也。 When Taizong was enshrined, the Lord of Hongnong was moved; when Gaozong was enshrined, Emperor Xuan was moved again—all sacrificing to six generations, the established law of former ages.
