自孝文更造四銖錢，至是歲四十餘年，從建元以來，用少，縣官往往即多銅山而鑄錢，民亦盜鑄，不可勝數。 From Emperor Wen's recasting of the four-zhu coin down to this year, more than forty years had passed. Since Jianyuan, funds had been short; county offices often minted coin near abundant copper mountains, and the people also minted illicitly, beyond counting.
