《五代史闕文》：周太祖在漢隱帝朝為樞密使，將兵伐河中李守貞，時馮道守太師，不與朝政，以請告，周祖謁道於私第，問伐蒲策，道辭以不在其位，不敢議國事。 The 《Omitted Texts of the History of the Five Dynasties》 records: as military affairs commissioner under Han Emperor Yin, Zhou Taizu led troops against Li Shouzhen of Hezhong; Feng Dao held grand preceptor rank and stayed out of politics on leave; Taizu called at his home to ask strategy for attacking Pu; Dao declined, saying he was out of office and dared not discuss state affairs.

又，周祖自鄴起兵赴闕，漢隱帝兵敗，遇害於劉子陂。 When Taizu raised troops from Ye and marched on the capital, Han Emperor Yin's army was defeated and he was killed at Liuzi Slope.
