元帝於荊州即位，父隨朝士例往赴西臺，元帝授察原鄉令。 When Emperor Yuan of Liang took the throne at Jingzhou, his father followed the court officials' example in going to the Western Terrace; Emperor Yuan appointed Cha magistrate of Yuanxiang.
