八年二月，禮部尚書方獻夫等言：「悼靈皇后，禮宜祔享太廟，但今九廟之制已備。 In the second month of the eighth year, Minister of Rites Fang Xianfu and others said: “Empress Daoling ought by ritual to be enshrined for joint sacrifice at the Grand Temple, but the system of nine temples is now complete.

今孝惠太皇太后實皇考獻皇帝之生母，則悼靈皇后當祔於側。」 Now Grand Empress Dowager Xiaohui was in fact the birth mother of our late father the Offering Emperor; therefore Empress Daoling should be enshrined at her side.”

至期，請悼靈後主詣奉慈殿奉安。 When the day arrived, the spirit tablet of Empress Daoling was requested and escorted to the Hall of Maternal Kindness for installation.
